Description
As a Health Economics Analyst at IQVIA Portugal in Lisbon, you will support the Health Economics team within the Real World Evidence unit. Your primary focus will be on developing and adapting economic models, conducting meta-analyses, and disseminating results to clients. You will collaborate with clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology sectors to quantify the economic outcomes of medical technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the execution of meta-analyses and economic models using advanced Excel-VBA and R
- Adapting and developing health economics analyses such as budget impact analyses and cost-effectiveness analyses
- Conducting literature reviews
- Managing projects across various Health Economics business areas and therapeutic areas to ensure timely delivery
- Assisting senior team members in deriving strategic insights from analytics that add value for IQVIA's clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- An MSc in Economics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a strong analytical background
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Health Economics, preferably in consultancy, CRO, or pharmaceutical/biotech
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel spreadsheets and VBA, as well as presentation creation with PowerPoint
- Strong time-management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- The ability to work well as a team member and build relationships in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Eligibility to work in a hybrid regime
