Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, implement, and update software systems in accordance with the needs of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and carry out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organisation standards and end-user requirements
- Automate testing, write test plans, and detailed test scripts to support test cases derived from functional requirements and programming specifications
- Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation, document and resolve problems, and devise improvements to current procedures
- Establish software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance
- Collaborate with developers across regions, model data for analytics and reporting, review business requirements, advise on technical solutions, and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Develop a full understanding of relevant medical data and the data processing platform, explore data to discover patterns, relationships, anomalies, and trends, and create reports, graphs, and visualisations to represent stories within the data
- Write relational and multi-dimensional database queries, perform code reviews, and optimise existing queries
- Document work comprehensively and coherently in Confluence, track and define work within JIRA
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required, Master's Degree preferred
