Description
IOM is seeking a Protection and MHPSS Area Coordination Assistant to support the implementation and monitoring of MHPSS and protection activities at the cantonal level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating case management mechanisms with Protection and MHPSS Assistants and field staff
- Liaising with other agencies and key actors to mainstream protection and MHPSS activities
- Participating in sector meetings and working groups
- Ensuring service mapping and conducting regular participatory assessments
- Assisting in identifying gaps and needs in service provision for vulnerable migrants
- Preparing informative materials and presentations
- Coordinating daily work assignments and administering leave and other entitlements of Protection and MHPSS Assistants
The position requires a university degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, or a related field, with two years of relevant professional experience.
Fluency in English and one of the three official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian languages) is required.
