Description
WSP is recruiting an Environmental Remediation Technician to support its Northwest remediation services team, based in Redmond, WA.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in performing troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades of existing remediation systems, as well as experience with groundwater monitoring and soil sampling programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting groundwater treatment system operations and maintenance
- Assisting with environmental soil and groundwater sampling programs
- Field documentation, including daily field notes and data entry
- Routine travel and physical field work, such as collecting samples and moving equipment
- Other duties as assigned by Environmental Leads
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in remediation systems and groundwater monitoring
- 2+ years of experience in system operations and monitoring
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
- Physical demands include lifting 50 lbs and conducting strenuous tasks
- Experience with MS Office and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel 10-50% of the time
