Description
We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Risk department on a 12-month fixed-term contract as maternity cover. As a member of our busy legal team, you will focus on various legal areas and advise teams across the business.
The role involves reviewing and negotiating customer, partnership, and supplier contracts, working on projects such as rolling out new templates, building and maintaining self-help tools and playbooks, and focusing on process improvement for high-volume work.
You will be expected to deal with any legal issue at any time and contribute to team-wide initiatives. We are looking for a driven, independent, and proactive lawyer with private practice training and/or in-house experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Working on projects and template rollouts
- Building and maintaining self-help tools and playbooks
- Focusing on process improvement
- Dealing with various legal issues
