Description
We are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barnet Lane Clinic. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging, recovery-focused therapeutic programmes that make a genuine difference to patients every day.
You will provide an Occupational Therapy service centred around activities that meet the individual needs of service users, supporting them on their recovery journey through meaningful engagement and therapeutic intervention. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the Occupational Therapy service while helping to create a positive and stimulating environment for patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing personalised activity plans for patients
- Facilitating group activities and outings
- Maintaining a safe and organised therapeutic environment
- Supporting the development of the Occupational Therapy service
- Participating in multidisciplinary team efforts
- Undertaking a postgraduate PGDip in Sensory Integration, with potential for role evolution into a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist position upon completion
