Description
We are seeking a Principal VLSI Engineer to join our team. As a Principal VLSI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining industry standards, developing product features that become accepted as de-facto industry standards. You will provide technical leadership and accountability for multiple project teams and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for VLSI design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.
- Recognized as an authority in key VLSI technical areas.
- Plays a crucial role in defining industry standards, developing product features that become accepted as de-facto industry standards.
- Reviews and evaluates VLSI designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards.
- Provides technical leadership and accountability for multiple project teams and engineers.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or equivalent.
- Typically 10+ years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Leadership experience and mastery in electrical engineering fundamentals, VLSI principles, digital logic, and computer architecture.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Mastery over designing VLSI components, integrated circuitry, architectures and algorithms into complex VLSI solutions.
- Mastery of a programming and scripting, hardware description language, electronic design automation (EDA), and/or FPGA tools.

Salary Range: Annual Salary USD 174,000 - 352,500
