Description
We are looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer to join our team at Zscaler. As a leader in the field of digital transformation, Zscaler accelerates the agility, efficiency, resilience, and security of its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of software solutions for the Zero Trust Exchange platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based security platforms
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and security protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with SASE-based security platforms
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts
- Experience with agile development methodologies
