Description
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join the Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital team.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives by providing exceptional customer service.
Basic Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sensitivity to patient and family situations
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Ability to work independently within assigned duties
- Willingness to work with diverse populations
- Recognition of boundaries and limitations of duties
Qualifications:
- Six-month commitment with a minimum of 4 hours per week
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing)
- Adequate hearing and vision
- Sensitivity to patient and family situations
- Passing a background check
- Agreement to get a TB test
- Meeting immunization compliance requirements
