Description
As a Hardware Engineer at Cisco, you will develop and work with Next Generation Technology to build Cisco Hardware products, focusing on user experience and adherence to IEEE standards and industry best practices.
You will serve various roles, including IP Creator, Solution Integrator, and Solution Verification expert, driving innovation across Cisco's hardware portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Work independently to improve products or services using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system designers, diagnostics engineers, and external vendors
- Drive small-to-medium features from technical design through completion
- Write unit and integration test plans and identify opportunities for automating tests and debugging
- Resolve issues and escalate as needed
- Participate in verification processes to ensure products meet Cisco standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree + 5 years of related experience, Master's degree + 3 years of related experience, or PhD + 0 years of related experience
