As a Target Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in keeping our guests, team, and brand secure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a welcoming and secure environment for our guests and team members
- Responding to and documenting security incidents in a timely manner
- Using intelligence-led tactics to prevent and resolve theft and fraud
- Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support as needed
- Promoting a physical security culture throughout the store
- Working collaboratively with team members and external partners to achieve security goals

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift merchandise up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and best practices
