Description
We are seeking a Stores Coordinator to join our team at our facility in Great Blakenham.
As a Stores Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising and maintaining the stores, inventory/stock levels, and stores systems. You will carry out regular stock checks to ensure stock is available when needed, source replacement parts, and organise the refurbishment of refurbishable parts. You will also maintain the stores facilities and quarantine areas.
The role is Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with working hours of either 0700-1700 or 0600-1600.
The salary for this role is £14.28 per hour, which equates to £33,415 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety instructions, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the engineering manager in the development of the stores and inventory
- Carry out weekly stock checks/audits to ensure actual stock levels are correct
- Identify potential areas for improvement in the stores or systems
- Use the CMMS fully as per company procedures to prevent stock outs
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure the best quality products are purchased at the best prices
- Issue stores inventory to engineering and contractor staff in line with company requirements
- Manage deliveries of inventory and collection of parts for refurbishment
- Maintain the workplace, tools, and engineering facilities to prevent hazards and risks
Requirements:
- Stores experience
- Experience in an engineering operational environment
- Knowledge of engineering systems
- Knowledge of stores systems, CMMS
- Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data
- Displays personal commitment to safety
