Responsibilities
- Contribute to team direction with your expertise and ideas.
- Prototype software solutions in an agile environment.
- Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications.
- Use modeling and simulation environments, analysis tools, and techniques to quantify technology benefits.
- Engage with customers for successful mission-critical outcomes.
- Work across the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate your work and decisions to colleagues and customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
- Experience with big data, NoSQL, and database technologies.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, including design, algorithm implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, and classification.
- Understanding of applied mathematics, including differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes.
- Background in engineering, including controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
