Retail Store Associate

As a Retail Store Associate at CVS Health, you'll play a meaningful role in our family, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on customers with a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they're fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
• Remain upright on your feet for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly.
• Visual Acuity - close visual acuity to perform activities like viewing a computer terminal and reading.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours:

• 15 hours

• Monday: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Tuesday: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Wednesday: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Thursday: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Friday: 4 pm - 9 pm
• Saturday: 11 am - 9 pm
• Sunday: 11 am - 9 pm

Weekend Shift Frequency:

• Every other weekend required.

Pay Range:

• $15.00 - $18.00
