Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Exton, PA. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacy team with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining patient records
• Provide excellent customer service, answering patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Operate the pharmacy's workflow systems, including scanning and bagging medications
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking medications
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Complete required training and certification programs to maintain licensure and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements:

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some states may require a minimum age of 16 or 18
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills, including calculating totals and change
• Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 20 pounds, and repetitive movements

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
