Description
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring prescriptions are processed and shipped accurately to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Process requests for new and refill prescriptions
- Select and retrieve medications
- Verify quantities and prepare labels
- Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification
- Prepare packages for shipment
- Enclose client-specified materials
- Affix shipping labels and sort packages
- Clean equipment and maintain workstation supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a pharmacy environment
- Arizona Board of Pharmacy Technician Trainee license
- Basic math skills and PC knowledge
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently
- Perform repetitive motions
- Work in confined areas with varying noise levels
