Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacy team with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining patient records
• Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve pharmacy goals and objectives
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to CVS Health's standards for cleanliness and safety
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations
• Support immunization services, including preparing and administering vaccines
• Perform basic inventory activities, such as receiving and stocking medications

Requirements:

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Must be at least 16 years of age (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement)
• High school diploma or equivalent required (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and dispense medications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in multiple locations to meet business needs

Salary: $17.00 - $17.00 per hour
