Description
We are seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy team to deliver operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store
- Support patients and customers with their healthcare needs, providing empathetic and genuine care
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
- Remain flexible for both scheduling and business needs, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
- Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
Requirements:
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Attention and focus, with ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
- Customer service and team orientation, with ability to actively look for ways to help people
- Communication skills, with ability to use and understand verbal and written communication
- Mathematical reasoning, with ability to use math to solve problems
- Problem resolution, with ability to identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
