Multimedia Content Reviewer

We are seeking a Multimedia Content Reviewer to write and review linguistic content in Portuguese for Brazil. As a Multimedia Content Reviewer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of accuracy for customers using the world's foremost multimedia platforms.

Main Duties:

• Localize, translate, and adapt content of various categories while adhering to writing style guides and guidelines
• Write new copy for a range of multimedia products such as music, TV, and apps, video on-demand, and game subscription services
• Perform regular linguistic reviews of your own work and the work of other team members
• Copy-edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy
• Conduct market-specific research on local content treatment, content, product, and terminology trends and best localization practices
• Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics
• Report on data and/or assets across a broad scope of media and content types
• Review linguistic assessments, create training materials and documents for new projects, and ensure that other team members are fully trained on terminology, style, and best practices
• Collaborate with the global language team via virtual meetings and emails on content review tasks

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree and 2+ years of work experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content
• Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content
• Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies in content and make sound judgment calls
• Wide range of knowledge of music, artists, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture
• Fluency in written and verbal English
• Strong computer literacy, knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems a plus
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Collaborative and enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment
