Loads & Dynamics Engineering Manager

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Loads & Dynamics (L&D) First Level Manager to join our Air Dominance team in Hazelwood, MO.

This program is on the cutting edge of development supporting the Next Generation of fighter aircraft.

As a Loads & Dynamics Engineering Manager, you will lead, develop, and motivate employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Loads & Dynamics. You will develop and execute integrated plans, manage risks, and implement policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading employee development and engagement to support career growth, retention objectives, recognition, and empowerment.
• Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Developing and implementing methods to avoid and resolve complex technical issues that require a high level of ingenuity and innovation.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. At least one year of experience in a leadership role and 5+ years of experience in Loads & Dynamics engineering are required.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience leading teams, experience with loads and dynamics system requirement verification/validation and military qualification/airworthiness activities, and experience developing and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards.

The salary range for this position is $142,800 - $193,200.
