We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our Catering team at Wexham Park Hospital. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in providing a highly professional and customer-focused catering service to patients, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to work hard, and confident in carrying out individual duties. You will interact with a high number of people each day, making their visit as comfortable as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food service areas and equipment
- Serve food and drinks in patient/staff dining outlets
- Assist in food preparation
- Support wards in delivering their food service
- Undertake cashier duties
- Proactively support continued innovation and development of the department
Requirements:
- GCSE or Equivalent
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential)
- Previous catering experience (essential)
- Good communication skills
- Customer focused
- Good time management skills
