EHS Manager

Spreetail is seeking an EHS Manager in our Las Vegas, Nevada fulfillment center to own the strategy and execution of safety programs, building a proactive safety culture where compliance is lived every day. This is an onsite role, five days per week, and a true individual contributor position for someone ready to roll up their sleeves.

Responsibilities

• Own injury metrics, including ORIR and LTI rates, and drive corrective and preventive actions to keep them at or below industry benchmarks.
• Investigate and document each OSHA recordable accurately, and close corrective actions on time with Operations engaged throughout.
• Ensure safety training completion rates are at or above 95% across all associates and departments.
• Conduct and score monthly safety audits, track open items to closure, and deliver quarter-over-quarter improvement in audit results.
• Keep emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources current and posted, and drill them regularly across all shifts.
• Manage workers' comp proactively, reporting claims on time, using modified duty programs, and bringing claim costs down.

Requirements

• 6+ years of safety or EHS experience in roles of progressive responsibility, ideally in an OSHA 1910 General Industry environment.
• Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including ownership of OSHA 300 logs, complaint response, and onsite regulatory support.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night and weekend shifts.
• Hands-on technical skills, including direct experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Proven ability to own and execute integrated safety programs without Safety Supervisor support.
• Comfort spending a significant portion of every shift on the warehouse floor, not behind a desk, and working onsite five days per week.
