Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Gyle Shopping Centre in Edinburgh. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and dealing with issues as they arise.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness at Gyle Shopping Centre
• Deal with issues as they arise
• Assist customers and retailers when required
• Assist in emergency situations
• Provide additional resource in the Food Court
• Attend to cleaning duties and other reasonable associated tasks
• Be flexible and responsive to changing daily priorities
• Prioritise jobs according to urgency
• Escalate issues to ABM nominated supervisors and managers
• Ensure work area is clean and well maintained
• Communicate regularly with ABM nominated supervisors and managers
• Undertake training as necessary

• Availability as and when required

• Operate and manage workload effectively without supervision
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied
• Maintain critical standards for professionalism, service, speed, and quality assurance
