Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests, ensuring product quality and freshness, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience
- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues promptly
- Support team efforts and maintain a positive attitude
- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an exceptional experience
- Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks
- Locate and identify damaged or recalled items and process accordingly
- Ensure accurate in-stocks and follow proper inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices and complete required training
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work in a safe manner and report hazards
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick-up
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
