Description
The Watermark Hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest level of service to guests, responding in a friendly and positive manner
- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests
- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services
- Work as a team player in meeting guests' needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments when necessary
- Understand and follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's guest service recovery program
Financial Results and Cost Control:
- Follow proper selling techniques and ensure strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues
- Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures
- Drive sales and maximize revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities
- Follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions
Self/Workload Management:
- Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties
- Adhere to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group general work rules and department procedures
- Attend all required department and hotel meetings
Safety/Risk Management:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state, and federal regulations
- Follow all B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures for guest/team member incidents
- Be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures
Additional Information: The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates' total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans, and more.
