Description
We are seeking a Product Owner - AI Products to join our team at Barclays. As a Product Owner, you will be primarily responsible for planning, delivering, and managing AI-driven products or features, with a great focus on roadmaps, prioritisation, and execution.
You will translate business needs into product requirements, leveraging your understanding of AI fundamentals, data analytics, and market insights to support product development. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll coordinate delivery using tools like Jira while building robust relationships and ensuring clear communication.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing customer level strategies and solutions tailored to customers’ needs
- Being a Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team and guiding stakeholders at all levels in the Bank on the application of existing and new products/propositions and related customer and colleague journeys
- Developing product propositions and/or service strategy, defining priorities for delivering outcomes, and leading execution
- Evaluating technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks associated with new product development and launch
- Monitoring market trends and analysing feedback from internal employees and target customers to identify areas for improvement
- Managing comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments for products
- Monitoring key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, and revenue generation to assess product performance

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in product ownership and end-to-end product management
- Great planning, organisational, and project management skills, including experience using Jira
- Experience in AI product management, including development and delivery of AI-driven products or features
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Understanding or exposure to coding, Machine Learning, or AI concepts
- Awareness of commercial considerations and how product decisions contribute to business value and outcomes
