Description
The Lancaster Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team on the Surgical Wards. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff during annual leave or absence.
The role involves delivering direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols, assessing patient needs, prioritising care, and updating care plans. You will also monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and escalate appropriately using clinical judgement. Other duties include administering medications safely, maintaining accurate nursing documentation, and identifying and reporting incidents.
To be considered, applicants should have a valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult), demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting, and a good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience, training, and qualifications.
