Description
We are seeking an experienced simulation engineer with a strong background in computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and engineering simulation technologies. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Synopsys, you will work with customers across aerospace, automotive, energy, electronics, and industrial industries, helping them leverage simulation technologies to accelerate innovation and improve product performance.
You will join the ACE Global Technical Support team, a diverse group of talented engineers and subject matter experts dedicated to enabling customer success through simulation-driven innovation. The team collaborates closely across regions and disciplines to help customers maximize the value of Synopsys simulation technologies while advancing best practices in engineering analysis, AI-assisted workflows, and customer support excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Connect advanced simulation methods with practical engineering needs and collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows, identify challenges, and recommend effective solutions.
- Solve complex engineering challenges, contribute to product improvement initiatives, create technical content, and drive adoption of advanced simulation technologies across a broad range of industries.
- Develop deep technical expertise while making a measurable impact on customer success and business growth.
Requirements:
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field with 3+ years of experience in an engineering software environment, or M.Tech with 1+ years, or PhD.
- Expert-level knowledge of Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Numerical Methods, and Thermodynamics.
- Demonstrated experience using Ansys Fluids products or equivalent commercial CAE software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement numerical models to address complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain a sense of urgency.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and simulation technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to learn new technical domains and expand expertise across multiple simulation applications.
