As a Lead Item Data Specialist, you'll take the lead in completing item set-ups via partnership with merchant teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Driving data accuracy and ensuring consistency across categories
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and remediate data according to category strategy
- Evaluating launch readiness through troubleshooting, remediating, and communicating with vendors and internal partners about launch blocks, system issues, and content generation communication
- Training and assisting with item Center of Excellence trainings for new hires and refresher sessions
- Being a Department/Division owner in terms of workload planning, prioritization, and process changes
- Being a point person for communication between various Target locations and the other team members in the group
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- To be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Willingness to embrace ambiguity and remain flexible
- Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency and initiative
- Experience researching root issues
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Outlook
