High Horse Power Field Service Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled High Horse Power Field Service Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Avondale, AZ. As a technician, you will diagnose and complete repairs to engines at the customer's site.

Responsibilities:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Participate in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain your own tools

Requirements:

• Ability to complete complex internal engine repairs
• Experience performing engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficiency with engine diagnostic software
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain DOT hours of service
• 3 years of driving experience

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
• Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
• Locally valid driving permit
