Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse - Night Shift (12a-9a ET, Tue-Fri)

As an Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on urgency and severity of mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial patient risk assessments and triage
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients
• Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families about perinatal mental health conditions and treatment options
• Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting care plans as necessary
• Advocating for patients' rights and ensuring that care is delivered in a way that respects their autonomy and dignity
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license and residence in a nursing compact state
• 4+ years experience in a hospital and/or healthcare practice, serving maternal-child health populations
• Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing, perinatal mental health or a related field
• Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and a holistic approach to mental health

Preferred qualifications:

• Perinatal Mental Health Certification
• Experience in case management and care navigation
• Experience providing virtual care
• Experience providing care in Spanish

The expected base salary range offered for this role is $70,200 - $74,700.
