Description
This Senior Engineering Program Manager role leads software programs, including Cloud Infra programs, within the Campus and Branch program management team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams across multiple functions, driving end-to-end deliverables from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams across software and cloud programs delivering features
- Manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Establish and manage cross-functional teams across PLM, SW, Systest, Technical publications, customer service to drive deliverables across all phases in NPI PLC
- Identify cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and successfully plan and manage those interdependencies and risks
- Adept at leading various levels of team members, managers, and executives to deliver NPI programs
- Update and maintain program status, milestones, budget, risk, and program schedule on a regular basis
- Communicate program status and drive escalations with senior leadership to keep scope, schedule, budget within tolerance
- Review and optimize critical path and schedule considering multiple interrelated projects and any risks that materialize
- Lead and drive hardware programs and critical initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10-12 years of experience in IT product-based company, preferably in a Telecom/Networking domain
- 7+ Years of Program management experience, preferably with 5+ years leading SW/Cloud programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scrum Master (SCM) certification
