Description
We are seeking a Prompt Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Ubisoft Paris, focusing on testing new experiences for players and equipping creators to imagine more dynamic, immersive, and surprising interactions using generative AI.
As a Prompt Specialist, you will participate in designing and implementing AI features for our games, ensuring the technology is adopted by various departments, and guaranteeing the consistency of prompt content across different environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the design and implementation of AI features for our games
- Ensuring the adoption of technology by various departments
- Guaranteeing the consistency of prompt content across different environments
- Testing the impact of prompt modifications and optimizing latency and costs
- Elaborating best practices for prompts and accompanying teams in their implementation
- Contributing to the creation of manual and automatic test scenarios with QA and AI teams
- Analyzing bugs and feedback, identifying those related to prompt content and improvement areas
- Participating in the identification and testing of new machine learning models and designing tools for their use
- Conducting scientific monitoring of prompt engineering practices and AI in general
Requirements:
- At least one prior experience in a technology company
- Significant experience in creating prompts for various tasks and providers
- Familiarity with concepts such as agents, function calling, reasoning approaches, and prompt engineering
- Good understanding of several language models (GPT-5, Gemini, Claude, Qwen, SentenceBERT, Llama, Mistral, …)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Autonomy and curiosity
Nice to have:
- Programming skills (Python, C#, etc.) and experience with AI APIs
- Experience in creating narrative content (dialogues, quests, world descriptions) and/or role-playing games
- Good understanding of video game design principles
