Senior Research Scientist, Target Tracking

Responsibilities

• Contribute to team direction with expertise and ideas
• Create mathematically principled solutions to complex information science problems
• Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile development environment
• Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, analysis tools, and compute clusters to quantify technology benefits
• Engage with customers to ensure successful mission-critical outcomes
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Required Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls and Dynamical Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Statistics and Probability, or a related field
• Experience with coding languages such as Rust, C++, and Python
• Record of academic excellence in areas like applied mathematics, engineering, scientific computing, and probability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
