Responsibilities
- Contribute to team direction with expertise and ideas
- Create mathematically principled solutions to complex information science problems
- Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile development environment
- Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications
- Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, analysis tools, and compute clusters to quantify technology benefits
- Engage with customers to ensure successful mission-critical outcomes
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Required Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls and Dynamical Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Statistics and Probability, or a related field
- Experience with coding languages such as Rust, C++, and Python
- Record of academic excellence in areas like applied mathematics, engineering, scientific computing, and probability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
