Description
We are seeking a qualified Project Architect to join our expanding Architectural team at WSP.
As a Project Architect, you will support the concept, planning, and technical design of construction projects across various sectors. Your responsibilities will include developing project designs, producing presentation drawings and sketches, and assisting in solving design and technical complexities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and review models and drawings under the direction of the Project Lead
- Assist in solving design and technical complexities and prepare accurate information for construction
- Lead specific aspects of the project and collaborate with the project team
- Interact with clients and internal and external consultants
- Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents, plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards
- Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects
Requirements:
- Qualified Architect with previous experience in the construction/architectural industry
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and relevant technical design guidance and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively
- Experience of working autonomously and as part of an architectural design team
- Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
