Electrical Technician (Medium Voltage)

As a Facilities Operations Technician at SpaceXAI, you'll operate and maintain critical facility systems powering supercomputing data centres.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure site safety and environmental compliance for MEP infrastructure.
• Provide operational expertise for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain performance measures.
• Write and execute MOPs, SOPs, EOPs.
• Perform daily inspections of critical systems.
• Identify and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate scheduled system shutdowns.
• Develop energy monitoring metrics.
• Support commissioning efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or 2+ years of hands-on operations/facilities work experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles and systems.
• Experience with critical systems documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and Building Management Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools.
• Work in tight quarters.
• Lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
• Work at elevated heights.
• Work in extreme outdoor environments.
• Flexible shifts for 24x7 coverage.
• Pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing.
• Pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.
• Valid driver’s license.
