We are looking for experienced and engaged Technical Experts (m/f/d) Damage / Insurance to strengthen our team in the Stuttgart-Ulm-Munich area.
Job Description: As a Technical Expert, you will help people whose homes have been damaged by an event. You will independently process and settle property and liability damages with a focus on building damages (civil and structural engineering).
Your tasks will include:
- Conducting on-site inspections and damage assessments
- Independently creating expert opinions, reports, and statements
- Evaluating damage causes, scope, and repair costs
- Coordinating and agreeing with all relevant parties (insurers, policyholders, service providers, experts, etc.)
- Ensuring quality- and customer-oriented damage processing
Requirements:
- Completed studies in engineering (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering), training as a state-certified technician, or comparable education
- Several years of professional experience in one of the above-mentioned fields
- Sound knowledge of building damages
- Good knowledge of civil and structural engineering is advantageous
- Analytical thinking and pronounced problem-solving competence
- Independent and structured way of working
- Communication skills and customer orientation
- Driver's license class B
