Business Developer

We are looking for a Business Developer to join our team in Hamburg. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for growing our business in the foodservice and out-of-home channels. You will identify new opportunities, develop existing partnerships, and build a strong network in your city.

Your mission is to ensure that more bakeries, restaurants, cafes, and other exciting concepts in your city work with Oatly. You will win new customers, develop existing partnerships, and build a strong network in your city. You know the local gastro and food scene, you know which new openings are causing a stir, and you have a feel for where trends are developing.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify exciting concepts in your region, win new foodservice and out-of-home customers for Oatly, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends
• Develop existing partnerships and support customers in maximising the potential of our products
• Present our products, conduct sales conversations, and implement new cooperations
• Work closely with our brand, beverage, and sales teams to make Oatly more visible and relevant
• Support customers with product training and practical know-how around our products
• Attend industry, coffee, and community events and help establish Oatly as a permanent fixture in the local scene
• Plan and prioritise your activities independently and keep your goals in mind
• Document customer contacts, opportunities, and measures in our CRM system
• Monitor market, consumer, and beverage trends and derive opportunities for further growth

Requirements:

• You have already gained initial experience in the gastronomy, hospitality, coffee, or foodservice world
• You are interested in sales and in creating long-term partnerships from initial conversations
• You are a real communication talent and enjoy exchanging ideas with people. Empathy is your second first name
• You have a good nose for cool third spaces, know the hotspots in your city, and the latest coffee, food, and drink trends
• A traditional working environment is nothing for you, you are happy to be on the go and feel at home in the gastro scene of your city
• You work independently and structured and don't let a 'no' discourage you
• You live centrally in Hamburg, speak fluent German, and communicate safely in English
