This role supervises hourly Production Coordinators and adjacent logistics teammates supporting data center construction, commissioning, and ongoing campus operations at Memphis / Southaven.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an hourly workforce by assessing employee performance, providing feedback, and addressing issues.
  • Lead by setting an example, taking feedback, and motivating the team.
  • Monitor and improve operations, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Own shift-level production coordination: inventory requests, kits, and replacement parts.
  • Ensure parts and equipment are handled and protected to SpaceXAI specifications.
  • Interface with engineers, technicians, Site Operations, and construction on priorities.
  • Ensure work-order bill of material quantities are reconciled.
  • Maintain high integrity in company computer systems.
  • Supervise kit build, de-kit, return-to-stock, staging, and workflow improvements.
  • Ensure cycle counting, FIFO / stock rotation, and environmental controls are followed.
  • Lead cost-saving and continuous-improvement projects.
  • Actively develop the workforce and monitor and approve employee timekeeping.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing.
  • 1+ years of experience leading or supervising hourly warehouse, inventory, production coordination, or manufacturing teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP / inventory management software.
  • Experience with MRP systems and work-order / BOM-driven material flow.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within materials management or production coordination.
  • Experience in data center, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments.
  • APICS certification.
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience.
  • Ability to operate forklift equipment.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to work varying shifts.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights.
  • Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments.
  • Ability to work in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise.
  • Willingness to operate machinery.
  • Able to and available for travel (up to 20% of time).
  • Ability to work onsite in the Memphis, TN / Southaven, MS area.
