Description
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Pasig City, Philippines.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of mechanical services and associated systems of work. You will lead and supervise the Mechanical Engineering team in implementing project objectives, plans, and programs within the department as directed by management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing mechanical services and associated systems of work
- Leading and supervising the Mechanical Engineering team
- Ensuring project designs meet client requirements and standards
- Liaising with local supply authorities to gain approvals
- Managing and maintaining records of drawings and documents
- Coordinating with other disciplines and teams
- Training and developing junior staff
- Creating regular project status reports
- Keeping up-to-date with technical updates and advising management
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is a plus
- Knowledge of Camel program or other HVAC load estimating software
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
- Working knowledge of WSP's organizational capability and systems
