FBS Application Developer IV

Job Summary

As a FBS Application Developer IV at Capgemini, you will design and develop computer programs, monitor junior staff, and perform evaluations of packaged software. You will conduct system studies to analyze and evaluate manual and computerized processes to improve efficiency, develop techniques for automating processes, and manage technical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code instructions for computer programs/objects/components
• Configure packaged software
• Test and implement changes to ensure they meet specifications
• Document and implement programs according to installation standards and conventions
• Perform quality checks on program code, related objects, and documentation
• Respond to Production Support issues
• Analyze programs to ensure efficient use of computer and storage resources
• Conduct preliminary estimates/Rough Order of Magnitude for new/change to application functionality
• Analyze and make recommendations for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balancing & controls
• Conduct system studies to improve efficiency and develop techniques for automation
• Monitor junior staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with specifications
• Manage and control system development projects
• Support implementation/training activities and troubleshoot system environmental issues
