Description
We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. As a Physical Therapist in Acute Care and Emergency, you will play a crucial role in interpreting physician referrals, completing evaluations, and establishing plans of care for patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician referrals and complete musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary evaluations
- Establish plans of care and implement individual treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve optimum patient care
- Complete required documentation and maintain productivity standards
- Participate in performance improvement activities and pursue professional growth
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in an acute care setting (minimum 1 year)
- Experience working in an ED setting
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
Schedule Details:
- Part-time position, 20 hours per week
- 3 days per week, with one night shift per week
- 2 weekend day shifts per month
- Flexibility to work holidays
Compensation:
- $41.10 - $61.65 per hour
- $2500 sign-on bonus available
