Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team at xAI, working at the intersection of AI and law. As a Corporate Counsel, you will support and lead strategic transactions, handle corporate governance, and provide counsel on complex legal and business issues.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships, and other strategic transactions
• Partner with corporate development, finance, and operations teams to execute deals
• Drive post-closing integration and build processes for mergers and acquisitions
• Oversee subsidiary maintenance and provide counsel on general corporate matters

Basic Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 6+ years in Corporate or M&A at a top-tier law firm
• Expertise in complex corporate structures and transactions
• Experience representing mature private and public companies

Additional Requirements:

• Admitted to the bar in good standing in at least one U.S. State
• Office-based, on-site, five days a week
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Compensation and Benefits:

• $220,000 - $260,000 USD
