Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Development team, focusing on software development for powertrain calibration and emissions engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software used daily by powertrain calibration and emissions engineers
• Develop desktop applications using C#/.NET, WinForms/DevExpress
• Create engineering analysis tools with MATLAB toolboxes and Python analytics
• Design web applications with Java/Spring Boot backends and JavaScript/TypeScript frontends
• Work on data and integration services, including REST/web services and MongoDB/BigQuery data access
• Manage cloud and DevOps tasks, such as Terraform-based infrastructure and containerized deployments
• Collaborate with calibration engineers to understand their needs and develop solutions
• Provide technical leadership, reviewing pull requests, debugging, and mentoring junior engineers

Requirements

• Experience in software development, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong programming skills in multiple languages, including C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as GCP and Cloud Run
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Salary

• Salary grade 7: $99,600 - $166,600 per year
• Salary grade 8: $115,000 - $192,900 per year
