As a NCV/EMG Technician, you will perform Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) tests on upper and lower extremities, assist physicians with EMG testing and examinations, and maintain the efficiency of exam rooms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for EMG examinations
- Assisting physicians during EMG examinations
- Performing clerical functions and distributing EMG reports
- Maintaining files, cleaning the EMG room and equipment, and replenishing lab supplies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic physiology and anatomy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and decisive judgment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist patients
- Exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 8am-5pm
