Field Service Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Gillette, WY. As a Field Service Diesel Technician, you will complete preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on engines and related components at customer sites with minimal direction. Your work will have a significant impact on our operations, ensuring that our products are properly maintained and repaired.

Responsibilities:

• Complete repairs on engine products
• Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Participate in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain your own tools

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics
• Direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
• Understanding of engine repair process information sources
• Familiarity with after-treatment systems and major components
• Basic knowledge of engine diagnostic software
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• MSHA certification required
• Rotating day shifts after probation period

Salary: $48,800 - $73,200 per year
