Description
We're seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our team in Westbrook. You will be employed in this role on a part-time, permanent basis, working 20 hours per week at £13.10 per hour.
Our stores operate 24/7, offering a wide variety of shift patterns. Weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will provide excellent customer service, be confident and relaxed discussing personal health issues, quickly resolve customer problems, and direct customers to the right products. You will also assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
Key responsibilities include:
- Spending time accurately assembling and processing prescriptions
- Driving awareness of extra services offered in Pharmacy, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews
- Supporting the Pharmacist with patient services, including blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes
- Collecting prescriptions from doctor's surgeries on behalf of customers
- Developing an understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and adhering to them

We will support your career development by providing accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant and Dispensing Assistant within 6 months.
To succeed in this role, you should be naturally friendly, highly organised, and enjoy problem-solving. You should have good computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
