Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to join our team at Capital One in Mexico City, Mexico. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
You'll share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
- Utilizing programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications:
- Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
