Description
We are looking for a Product Manager, Observability to join our Product team. You will own the strategy and roadmap for Vercel's observability products, including Runtime Logs, OpenTelemetry tracing, and Drains.
Responsibilities:
- Own strategy and roadmap for Vercel's observability products
- Turn ambiguous signal into a sequenced plan with clear tradeoffs
- Partner daily with engineering and design
- Define the native-vs-integrate line
- Work with Enterprise customers and Sales/Solutions
- Own pricing and packaging decisions
- Write the launch narrative
- Define the metrics that tell you it's working
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product management
- Meaningful time on developer, infrastructure, or data-intensive products
- Shipped something technical enough that engineers treated you as a peer
- Comfortable owning a domain end to end
- Fluency with data
Bonus if you:
- Have worked at an observability, APM, or monitoring company
- Have shipped AI or agent-facing developer tooling
- Have owned consumption-based pricing for a technical product
- Are an active Next.js or Vercel user
