Staff Technician, Electrical Engineering (R6076)

Shield AI is growing its Avionics Engineering team to support the development of the V-BAT aircraft, a flight-critical, custom avionics system. As a Staff Technician, Electrical Engineering, you will work with the Electrical Engineering team to design and verify all V-BAT electrical systems and circuit boards.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing benchtop testing with basic EE equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and electronic loads
• Designing basic test fixtures and fabricating wire harnesses based on engineering drawings
• Reworking circuit boards down to at least 0402 parts and reading/interpreting schematics
• Working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects with a demonstrated history of ownership and exceptional results

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in an electrical engineering lab or equivalent
• Experience with EE equipment and test fixtures
• Ability to design and fabricate wire harnesses and simple circuit boards
• Proficiency in reading schematics and reworking circuit boards
• History of delivering exceptional results and working collaboratively
